RRSP paperwork must be dated, completed and submitted no later than March 1, 2010, to qualify for the 2009 tax year.
This deadline is a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requirement. Due to this CRA requirement, clients can not receive 2009 tax receipts for contributions dated after March 1, 2010.
