H shares: Shares issued by Chinese companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Health Spending Account (HSA): This is an individual employee account, funded by employer contributions, that provides for reimbursement of certain health and dental expenses that are not covered under either the group insurance plan or provincial health plan.
Hedge: In order to protect yourself from loss due to market price changes, you may take specific action to reduce your risk. This is known as a hedge.
Holding Company: In cases where one company owns the securities of another company (usually with voting control), the company in control is called the holding company.
Hybrid pension plan: Refers to various models of pensions with a combination of defined benefit and defined contribution features.
